At 3:00 pm on November 29, 2023, the Lincoln County Health Director lifted the water activity advisory originally issued on November 13, 2023 for a sewage spill in an unnamed tributary of Johnson Creek near Mountainridge Dr. in Stanley.
Testing conducted by Killian Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant indicate fecal coliform counts are at an acceptable risk level and the public can resume water activities in this area.
